How much does shipping cost?

Based on location and order value amount, precise shipping costs are determined during the checkout process. The delivery standards and quoted transit times are shown in the reference chart below. Depending on the destination address provided during checkout, some of the services listed may be unavailable.

How does your FREE shipping offer work?

Henkaa offers Free Standard Shipping for purchases shipping within Canada and the USA that have a subtotal of $175 or more. This amount is determined BEFORE any applicable taxes and AFTER discounts and promotional codes.

Orders that qualify will automatically have shipping fees deducted in cart. Fees won't be subtracted if your order doesn't satisfy the minimum conditions for this promotion. Ground, Express, Overnight, or Priority services are not eligible for this offer.

Do you offer Express or Overnight shipping?
To check your options for Express, Overnight or Priority services, add all items to your cart and enter your shipping address. The timelines that are specified at checkout are not guaranteed. Not every product is eligible for upgraded Express, Overnight or Priority services.

PO Box addresses are not supported for orders upgraded to FedEx services.

How are shipping costs calculated?
The location, order size, weight, and service chosen during checkout are taken into account when calculating shipping costs.

The cost of shipping is subject to change at any time without notice. Additional delivery fees might be necessary for large, wholesale or bulk orders. Before billing any extra costs, Henkaa will always notify customers prior to shipment.
How quickly will orders be processed for shipment?
The expected delivery standards that are provided at checkout do not include the handling and processing time of 3–5 business days. This range is not guaranteed and may increase during times of higher volume sales. Orders are not processed or shipped on weekends, provincial (Ontario) holidays, or Canadian federal holidays. Orders are only processed once full payment has been received. Shipping confirmation email will include tracking information.
How long does it take for a Pre-Order to ship?
Orders that include both pre-order and in-stock products will be held until every item is ready for shipping. The speed of processing a pre-order product will not increase if Express, Overnight or Priority shipping is chosen. Place separate orders if in-stock products need to be delivered first.
Are the estimated shipment delivery times guaranteed?
We try our best to provide average ETAs for the shipping services used to ship our products. We have no control over any delays brought on by a pandemic or a natural disasters. Delivery timelines are not guaranteed and are average estimates.

Henkaa is not liable for delays caused by extreme weather conditions, natural disasters, courier service holiday shipping schedules, or delays at Customs and Border Protection that are beyond our control. Alaska, Hawaii, the Canadian Territories, and other remote or international regions, such as mountainous or rural areas, may take longer than expected.
How do I track an order?

You may track the progress of your package using the tracking number in your shipping confirmation email. If you don't see the email in your inbox, check your promotions and spam folders.

Swatches are sent by Canada Post Untracked Lettermail unless an upgraded shipping service is selected at checkout (additional fees apply). Deliveries should be expected between 10 and 14 business days, plus an extra week or two for shipments outside of Canada.


What if no one is available to accept a delivery of an order?
Occasionally Henkaa uses delivery services that require recipient signatures. Someone must be present to sign for the package on the day of delivery. A note on how to pick up your package will be left by the delivery person. The parcel must be picked up from the carrier by the deadline provided.
Will I have to pay taxes, customs and duties upon delivery?
The good news is that there are no additional import fees for shipping addresses in Canada, as we are pleased to manufacture our convertible dresses here and ship from Toronto!

International customers are responsible for paying any and all fees that are billed to them upon or after delivery, including but not limted to customs, taxes, duties and tariffs. Henkaa will not be paying any of these related expenses on your behalf.
Why was my order shipped in multiple packages?
Despite our best efforts, we may ship orders in multiple parcels and potentially on different dates. Order may need to be split into many parcels for shipping, depending on the size and kind of products ordered. Shipping confirmation emails with the package's tracking number will be sent to via email for each shipment.
What happens if the tracking indicates that return to sender?
In the event that Henkaa's error lead to the return to sender, we will reship the package at no additional cost. If the reason for the return was an error by the purchaser and/or receiver, original shipping fees will not be refunded and we will reship at the expense of the purchaser. As we see fit, we will also provide alternative options.
