What is the Daffodil Convertible Lace and Chiffon Dress?
The Daffodil Convertible Dress is our newest addition to the Henkaa convertible dress collection. This dress is composed of two completely separate dresses layered to create a wonderfully whimsical look. The multiple layers create a vaporous look, complementing your silhouette and adding an extra touch of elegance.
The first dress is the Viola Convertible Strapless Midi Dress, a light a-line dress made from our signature Lenaa™ fabric. What makes it so special? You can wear the Viola dress as a flirty outfit on a fun evening out or turn it into a skirt and pair it with your favourite top.
The second dress is the Daffodil Chiffon Overlay Dress. It consists of a full-length skirt, featuring four long panel straps attached to the waist hem of the skirt. These four panels can be tied in over eight different ways allowing each and every woman to feel beautiful and confident in this timeless gown.
Just like our classic convertible dresses, the Daffodil lace and chiffon dresses use inclusive sizes and fit up to a size 24! This means that this gown only requires alteration to length if anything at all.
What Fabrics Does it Come in?
As mentioned above, the Viola dress (strapless dress underneath) is made from our signature, four-way stretch, machine washable and wrinkle-free Lenaa™ fabric. This premium fabric has a luxuriously soft drape and feels incredibly comfortable on your skin due to the four way stretch. Moreover, it is wrinkle resistant, machine washable, and non-clingy. Can it get any better than this?
The Daffodil overlay comes in two different fabric choices: as a chiffon or a lace dress. Each fabric comes in its own selection of colours. You can expect only the best quality materials from our handmade in Canada products.
The Daffodil as a Wedding Dress
This convertible lace and chiffon dress is a great option for brides as a convertible wedding dress, whether they are on a budget, looking for a size-inclusive gown or simply want a dress they can wear over and over again.
The Daffodil convertible wedding dress is simple, yet elegant. Wear it one way for the ceremony and another for the reception. Embellish with a rhinestone bridal sash or brooch to add some sparkle, or add texture by knotting the straps.
Whether you decide to go with chiffon or lace, this gown is under $300 and alterations are minimal; often brides only need to alter the length of the dress depending on their style of choice.
How Can I Style My Daffodil Convertible Dress?
One dress, two pieces means endless opportunities to wear this gown. Wear the Viola on its own in four different ways including a tube-top style strapless dress, a sweetheart strapless dress or as a skirt with your favourite top.
With both pieces, you can wear the Daffodil in over eight different styles such as strapless, one-shoulder, with sleeves, and a halter neckline.
How about wearing the Daffodil overlay as a bathing suit cover-up on vacation? Or if you’re daring, try pairing it with a bodysuit underneath? Convertible clothing is better for your wallet, the environment, and encourages creativity.
