Meet Our NEW Rose Gold Sequin Skirt
This blog post was created by Madeleine Villa.
In all its glitzy glory, it’s pretty hard to miss - but let us dive into a bit more detail about our newest convertible piece and how you can style it.
Why We Love The Rose Gold Sequin Skirt
We had so many of our customers ask for sequin overlays as a way to change up the look of our convertible dresses. Rose Gold is right on trend for Spring/Summer 2019 weddings and can blend easily into many color palettes.
This skirt is completely opaque which means you can wear it comfortably on its own. Wear our Sequin Skirt over our convertible dresses (like our collection shoot) for an elevated look, or wear it with an existing top of choice!
The Rose Gold Sequin Skirt comes in 4 size ranges, like some of our dresses. This means that like our dresses, this skirt will change along with your body.
XS/S fits sizes 0-6, M/L fits sizes 8-12, 1X/2X fits sizes, 14-18 and 3X/4X fits size 20-24.
The skirt is currently on pre-order for $219 and is 10% off until February 28, 2019.
Up until now, we have only shown the Rose Gold Sequin Skirt over our Nude Champagne Sakura. See three other ways you can wear it - most using items you already have at home!
1. With a Silk Camisole
For this look, Kate paired the Rose Gold Sequin Skirt with a silk camisole in a very similar shade.
This is a great way to do sequins on a budget. For a mix-and-match look try pairing the sequin skirt with tops in the same color but different styles. This is an out-of-the box alternative to bridesmaid dresses and allows each bridesmaid to show off her unique style.
2. With a Bodysuit and Jacket
Madeleine wore a simple white bodysuit under her Rose Gold Sequin Skirt, and then layered it up to add texture!
For Spring/Summer 2019 try a rustic-chic look by layering on a vintage denim jacket, and for Fall/Winter go edgy with a leather or pleather jacket!
For added creativity, hire a calligrapher to personalize each jacket. This is a huge trend at the moment and makes a great bridesmaid gift!
3. With a Contrasting Colored Top
Sonia wore a contrasting with her Rose Gold Sequin Skirt. This is a great look for a Fall/Winter 2019 wedding.
The Navy Blue grounds the look and makes it more elegant. This look is also perfect for a nautical themed wedding or for the girl who loves dramatic color palettes.
