We love Autumn, and October brings such joy with crisp cool air and our new fall collection. With October also comes Breast Cancer Awareness Month - an initiative near and dear to us.

Breast cancer is the second most common type of cancer in women. It has touched so many of us personally. Creating awareness helps makes sure that all the women in our lives know the importance of early detection. 

How Henkaa Supports Breast Cancer Awareness Month

In the past, Henkaa has supported by taking part in the CIBC Run for the Cure. This year, we’ve decided to support the event “Celebration of Being a Woman”. Taking place on October 22nd, this event celebrates how women are able to conquer each day with so much strength. This event supports Katie Davidson, a young breast cancer patient with incurable cancer. She’s living her life by spreading as much positivity as she can, and advocating for young women. Her optimism and determination inspires us all.
